Employment Verifications

When an employee applies for a loan, home mortgage, new job and/or rental qualification, any requests for verification of employment can be done two ways:

Verbal Verification 

  • Contact the Human Resources Office at (760) 770-0352
  • Please note, without a signed authorization we can only validate information

Written Verification

  • Email your forms to payroll@cathedralcity.gov or send us a fax at (760) 321-4509 with the verification request.
  • A signed and dated authorization by the employee is required
  • Please allow our team a one-week turnaround time

Please note: Employment verification includes information such as job title, date of hire, and current salary. It does not include information concerning personal attributes such as an employee’s character.
